What we do store
We store the following information from your personal GitHub account:
- Your GitHub username and ID

- Your locale to display posts in your correct timezone
We also store the following information from the organizations you connect:
- Organization and repository names and IDs (only for those you choose to track)
- GitHub App installation ID (to generate an installation access token)
- Temporary installation access token (expires in 1 hour) to fetch data from GitHub when needed
- All content generated for the repository by us
- If you connect a X account, we also store your X username, access token, and refresh token
All sensitive data is encrypted for your security.
What we do not store
We do not store any of your organization's code, and we only access repository data when necessary.
Why we store what we store
We store a short-lived user access token to retrieve your organization list and set up webhooks for push events. This token is only used when you're actively using our app. Additionally, when you install our GitHub app, we receive an installation ID, which allows us to generate an installation access token. This token is used to retrieve commit patch data from specific repositories when you're not online, enabling our app to function autonomously.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain user data for as long as you have an active account with us. If you delete your account, all your data gets removed.
If you are an organization owner and want to delete your organization and all associated data, please contact us at rasmus@ahtava.com. We will process your request and delete the organization and its data.
Please note that we may retain certain data for a longer period if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
How we use collected data
We use the stored data to provide you with a personalized experience, enable features like webhooks and commit patch data retrieval, and improve our app's functionality.
Security Measures
We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls, to protect your data.
